Turn your favorite cookie into a healthy breakfast with this Biscoff Overnight Oats recipe. These oats are rich, creamy, and infused with the caramel and cinnamon flavor of Biscoff.

With overnight oats, skipping breakfast is never an option. We love them for their convenience—just a few ingredients, ready in 10 minutes, and perfect for meal prep. In fact, you can make breakfast for the whole week in just 10 minutes!

Oats are amazing at soaking up flavors, and in this case, they’re infused with the delicious taste of Biscoff. If you’re not familiar with Biscoff, it’s a brand known for its vegan buttery, caramel, and cinnamon-spiced cookies, often served with coffee. They also make an absolutely divine spread with a rich, melt-in-your-mouth texture.

For this Biscoff Overnight Oats recipe, we melt some of the spread into the oats, then top it with a layer of creamy Biscoff sauce to do the flavor justice. If you love the caramely Biscoff flavor, try this Healthy ice cream recipe.

With just four ingredients, this is a simple vegan overnight oats recipe without chia seeds—but don’t worry, we’ll include some ingredient swaps and tasty additions below!

Ingredients for Biscoff overnight oats

  • Quick oats – We prefer thin rolled oats for this recipe because they’re smaller and give the overnight oats a somewhat creamy texture. Regular rolled oats have a firmer texture and a more pronounced oat flavor, which isn’t our preference for this recipe. If that’s all you have, simply grind them slightly in a blender. Oats are a nutritious and versatile breakfast ingredient—did you know you can also use them in a smoothie – try our Peanut butter smoothie without banana!
  • Biscoff spread – Comes in two varieties: smooth and crunchy. For this recipe, we prefer the smooth version because it melts perfectly for that rich caramel layer. Here’s the link to the Biscoff company.
  • Soy milk – Needed to soak the oats; we prefer unsweetened soy milk because it adds a few extra grams of protein.
  • Ground cinnamon – A touch of cinnamon enhances the Biscoff flavor of the oats. Any type of cinnamon works.

Ingredient replacement

Since this recipe uses only a few ingredients, adding extras rather than swapping existing ones makes more sense. However, if you want to experiment, here are some swaps and additions:

  • Swap the Biscoff spread – You can replace Biscoff with a different spread, like a chocolate spread, but keep in mind this will turn the recipe into something other than Biscoff Overnight Oats.
  • Add protein powder – For an extra protein boost, mix in some protein powder. Vanilla or cinnamon flavors pair best with Biscoff.
  • Use any plant milk – Soy milk can be swapped for any other plant-based milk without drastically changing the flavor.
  • Add chia seeds – Chia seeds are a popular addition to overnight oats for their texture and healthy fats, like omega-3 and omega-6. They also act as a thickening agent, so if you add them, be sure to increase the milk by 40 ml per tablespoon of chia seeds.

Step-by-Step instructions to make Biscoff Overnight Oats

In a medium bowl, mix two tablespoons of the hot milk with one tablespoon of Biscoff spread until smooth. Add the rest of the cold milk, reserving one tablespoon of hot milk for later. Stir in the oats, cinnamon, and salt, then mix well and set aside.

  • 1 Small glass or Mason jar

Ingredients

  • 50 grams quick oats
  • 80 ml soy milk
  • 2 tablespoon biscoff spread
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • Warm up three tablespoons of soy milk until hot.
  • In a medium bowl, mix two tablespoons of the hot milk with one tablespoon of Biscoff spread until smooth. Add the rest of the cold milk, reserving one tablespoon of hot milk for later. Stir in the oats, cinnamon, and salt, then mix well and set aside.

Notes

  • Use thin rolled oats or quick oats for this recipe because they’re smaller and give the overnight oats a somewhat creamy texture.
  • The milk needs to be hot before mixing it with the Biscoff spread, to make it easier to combine the two into a smooth paste.
  • To ensure that the top Biscoff spread remains intact, it’s important to give the oats a 5-10 minutes to absorb the milk before placing them in the jar.

This creaminess is cozily divine! The flavor is such a treat, and I love packing in the extra wholesomeness with the protein powder and chia seeds. :)

    1. Thanks so much! We love the creaminess as well—Biscoff is the ultimate comfort food! 😊 Chia seeds are such a great addition to overnight oats, and they really help with that thick, pudding-like texture. We’ve included the instructions for how much milk to add to get the perfect consistency. Hope you enjoy every bite!
